Some new modelling 'leaves' arrived today and I couldn't resist giving them a whirl this evening on the bases. I think they add a nice pop of colour, as do the tufts.

Darkwater WIP 1 - Jan 26

Christmas saw me gifted Warhammer Quest Darkwater by my wife. I've been slowly making my way through assembling it this month. I'm hoping to try my hand at NMM paint styles, so this is going to take me a while I think! I've tried to make cobblestones using thinly sliced XPF, and drawn in using a pen to shape them. 14 Pox Wretches.. this is going to take a while.

30/01/2026 Throwback Friday : Darkstrider

Darkstrider.. or is that Mark Strider, his Enclaves counterpart? One I painted up for my mate Matt in 2025.

06/02/26 Pestigor Test model

Wasn't sure how to approach the Pestigors, but went with a Rakarth Flesh base, and a Lahmium and Rhinox wash, followed up by Rakarth again and Carroburg on the sores/pustules. Looks a bit nude now, but maybe I can live with that. Adds to the gross vibe.
